SiLinkTM silane coupling agents BTMSE and BTSE are novel disilanes with two silane structures in the same molecular structure. They have 6 alkoxy groups on one molecule, which is double that of ordinary silane coupling agents. Therefore, BTMSE and BTSE can form a higher crosslink density on the surface of inorganic materials.
At the same time, the silanol formed by hydrolysis of the product is more acidic than the silanol formed by the common silane coupling agent, so that it can form a stronger covalent bond with the hydroxyl groups on the surface of the metal or inorganic material, and is not easily hydrolyzed.
